Dr. Nitin Kumar Pandey
Dr. Nitin Kumar Pandey is presently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Teacher Education at A.N.D. Teacher’s Training (P.G.) College, Sitapur, affiliated with the University of Lucknow. He is a committed faculty member in the field of education. He brings together a unique convergence of expertise in mathematics and education, holding master’s degrees in teacher education and mathematics (Gold Medallist), as well as a doctoral degree and UGC-NET qualification in Education. During the service period, he has attended more than 33 FDPs and seven orientation/refresher courses to enrich his research and academic skills.
He has made significant intellectual contributions throughout his academic journey, particularly in the areas of teacher education, pedagogy, and educational technology. He has authored over six research papers/book chapters, in addition to five textbooks, including Pedagogy of Science, Measurement and Evaluation in Education, and Technological Perspectives of Education. His research encompasses critical areas, including job satisfaction among educators, traditional pedagogical practices, and the role of e-governance in education. He has actively participated in over 54 national/international seminars/conferences. He also presented papers on contemporary educational challenges, including the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), inclusive education, stress management, and the integration of Indian Knowledge Systems with modern curricula.
Along with academic publications, he has actively contributed as a resource person in seminars/invited lecture series and has taken on key organizational roles in national-level conferences/seminars. His engagement extends to community outreach and policy-level discussions in the field of education. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to higher education and efforts in promoting awareness of the National Education Policy-2020, he was honoured with the Shikshak Samman Award by the University of Lucknow on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Department in 2021.
