Dr. Deepa Awasthi,

Assistant Professor in Department of Teacher Education, Acharya Narendra Dev Teachers Training (P.G.) College, Sitapur, U.P., is Doctorate in Education and Sociology.
She is Post Graduate in Education, Sociology and Economics. She has qualified UGC – JRF in Education and Sociology as well and has equal command on both the subjects. She has a long teaching experience at under graduate and post graduate level. She has conducted two National level seminars as Convenor and Organising Secretary and she has also coordinated more than 38 Webinars and invited lectures of various scholars from all over India. She has participated and presented her research papers in more than 70 national and international seminars and conferences. She has also actively participated in more than 45 online workshops and webinars.
She has 12 edited books to her credit on various educational and sociological issues. Her publication work also involves 27 chapters in edited books, 03 research papers in form of conference and seminar proceedings and 25 research papers and articles in various journals of
national and international repute. She has delivered more than 12 invited lectures in seminars, webinars and lecture series. She is active member of various committees of her college. She has expertise of handling community awareness programmes. Her keen interest areas include sociological issues related to women, girls, ICT and various other issues related to field of Education and Sociology.
